This Privacy Policy describes how AI Detector: While You Watch ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the AI Detector: While You Watch mobile application.

1. Eligibility and Age Restriction

The App is intended exclusively for users aged 18 years or older.

2.1 Account and Identifiers

The App requires Google Sign-In for authentication.

We collect:

• Email address (provided by Google Sign-In)

• Internal user identifier generated by our backend systems

We do not collect phone numbers.

• Device model and operating system (where available)

This data is collected primarily through tools such as Firebase Performance Monitoring and Crashlytics and is used to ensure app stability, security, and performance.

We do not intentionally collect IP addresses.

We collect limited usage data related to how the App is used, including:

• Media analysis requests (e.g., when a user initiates an analysis)

• Upgrade or subscription-related interactions

This data is collected at an event or session level and is primarily used for analytics, debugging, and service improvement.

2.4 Accessibility Service Usage

The App uses Android Accessibility Services strictly to enable its core functionality, which includes analyzing visual media content displayed on the user's screen.

Accessibility permissions are optional, and users must explicitly grant them. The App does not function fully without these permissions.

Important clarifications:

• The Accessibility Service may remain enabled until the user disables it in system settings; however, actual data capture occurs only when the user explicitly initiates an analysis (e.g., by tapping "Analyze").
• The App does not record the screen continuously or monitor user activity in the background.
• The App does not log keystrokes.
• The App does not capture passwords, authentication credentials, or financial information.
• The App does not store messages, chat content, or text typed in other applications.
• Any access to on-screen content is used solely to perform the user-requested media analysis and is not repurposed for any other functionality.

2.5 Media Content

• The App allows users to analyze images and videos.
• Media submitted for analysis may be sent to third-party services for processing (e.g., Sightengine).
• Captured frames may be temporarily stored for the purpose of completing the user-requested analysis and resolving session-related functionality.
• Media may also be stored in our backend systems and associated with the user's internal identifier.
• Media content is not continuously collected, reused, or processed beyond the original user-requested purpose.
• Users represent and warrant that they have the legal right to submit any media content they analyze using the App.
• We are not responsible for the content of user-submitted media or for third-party rights contained within such media.

2.6 Feedback and Communications

If you submit feedback or contact us, we may collect:

• The content of your message
• Metadata related to the submission (e.g., timestamp)

2.7 Location Data

• The App does not collect precise location data.
• In future versions, anonymized or aggregated country-level information may be collected for internal market analysis. Such data will not be linked to individual user identities.

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• Precise location (GPS)
• Health information

• Biometric data
